About the reports

Each report preserves the aggregate figures from a dated snapshot. Booking events are counted separately from listed charge rows, so records with unavailable charge information still appear in the booking totals. These reports describe the archive; they do not measure the county’s crime rate.

The statistics dashboard continues to update as records are published or corrected. A report’s numbers stay tied to its saved snapshot, making the date and limits visible when you revisit it.

New monthly reports are calculated automatically on the first of each month, after a fresh source snapshot is available. Each report covers the preceding calendar month.

Using the reports

Compare booking days within the captured month, distinguish bookings from saved charge rows, and understand how missing or retained information affects a breakdown. Use the linked dashboard to inspect the underlying records and the official sources to check current information.

For help interpreting an individual listing, read Booking record guides. For case status or an outcome, start with the York County Clerk of Court.
