September 2026 booking report

September’s captured records contain 466 booking events. The daily totals tell one part of the story; the gaps in saved charge information explain why the charge breakdown needs a separate reading.

Booking totals

The report counts 466 distinct booking numbers with a listed booking date in September. It includes records that remained on the current listing and records preserved after they left it. A later appearance of the same booking number does not create another event.

This is a count of booking events, rather than a count of different people. A person can have more than one booking number, and one booking can contain several charge rows. The totals also cannot tell you how many separate incidents occurred or when an alleged incident happened: the chart uses the booking date.

The 77 records with no saved usable charge description belong in that booking count. Removing them would make the overall total depend on charge availability. They cannot contribute to category or listed-agency counts, because there is no saved charge row to classify.

Charge data coverage

There are 784 saved usable charge rows across 389 bookings. The other 77 bookings—16.5% of this month’s total—have no saved usable charge description in the archived snapshot. That is missing information; it does not mean those bookings involved no charges.

263 bookings have charge data marked retained. Those rows were saved from an earlier observation and kept when a later check did not provide the same charge information. They support the historical breakdown, but they are not a claim that the earlier wording is still current.

1 booking has charge data awaiting review. Any usable rows already saved in that record remain in this report; the review flag means a source change needs checking. Missing information and retained wording limit how far comparisons between charge types can go.

A listed row is counted once even if its description mentions multiple counts. The total is therefore a count of saved rows, not a total of statutory counts, court cases, or convictions. Court outcomes are outside this report’s data.

Charge categories

The largest category by matching bookings is Court / probation / holds, present in 112 bookings and 149 saved rows. The category groups listed wording; it does not determine the reason for an individual detention.

Other leading categories include Other traffic in 84 bookings with 134 saved rows; Drug related in 71 bookings with 133 saved rows; DUI / DUAC in 48 bookings with 48 saved rows.

Court or hold wording does not necessarily describe a new alleged offense that month. A suspended-license description associated with an earlier DUI can belong to Other traffic rather than counting as a new DUI allegation.

A single booking can appear in more than one category. Adding the matching-booking column would count some bookings more than once; each saved row, however, receives one category. Links open the current dashboard for the same dates, where later corrections may produce different totals.

Categories with no saved rows in this snapshot
  • Animal / wildlife offenses: 0 matching bookings, 0 saved rows.
  • Uncategorized: 0 matching bookings, 0 saved rows.

No saved rows in a category does not establish that no such incidents or bookings occurred.

Listed agencies

The most frequent agency label by matching bookings is York County Sheriff's Office, appearing in 204 matching bookings and 396 saved rows. The table preserves the labels saved with each usable charge description.

One booking may contain rows attributed to different agencies, so the matching-booking totals can overlap. A booking with missing charge information cannot be assigned to an agency from these data. This table describes the saved labels; it cannot rank agency performance, establish which agency handled every stage of a case, or provide complete monthly arrest totals.

Methodology & sources

Time window and snapshot
Listed booking dates for September 1–30, 2026, inclusive, in America/New_York. The month is complete on the calendar, but complete capture of the county’s bookings is not established. The aggregate is frozen from the public site snapshot generated October 3, 2026, 1:42 am EDT and retrieved October 3, 2026, 1:49 am EDT.
Counting and classification
Valid booking numbers are deduplicated. Blank descriptions and link placeholders are excluded from charge rows. Categories use the same description mapping as the dashboard at publication. Missing charge rows do not remove a booking from the overall or daily counts. Any undated archive records cannot be assigned to this period; this source snapshot contained 0 undated booking records.
What the report does not establish
Unique people, complete arrests, complete incidents, crime rates, guilt, case outcomes, or current custody. Collection history, unavailable source pages, delayed updates, missing rows, and later corrections can affect the archive. A booking is not a conviction; charges are allegations.
Why the dashboard may differ later
The September date range on the dashboard reflects the latest published records. This report preserves its dated aggregate. A later source update or correction can change that dashboard without changing the report’s saved snapshot.
